Fight Injustice
Fight Injustice
There are many ways in which we can all help fight the scourge of injustice that has afflicted vulnerable widows and their families for too long.
The UN’s International Widows Day – each year on 23 June – provides a focus for activity that can be used by governments, individuals, corporations, schools and pressure groups to organise events, raise funds and increase awareness. On this page in the coming months we will offer advice and guidance for those who wish to do something – from simple ideas to complete campaigns – and report on how people are preparing for the big day.

But action does not have to be confined to one day. Take someone like Chris Parsons, who has chosen to celebrate his 50th birthday by cycling 2,500 kilometres and raising $250,000 in the process for the Loomba Foundation's education programme in India - if you want to do something, look around some of the ideas we will be developing on this site or get in touch for advice.
If your school or company has an annual charity, what better to pick than Widows Voice. Contact us and we can offer you a range of programmes to suit your organisation and your objectives.
