It’s estimated there are 46 million widows in India, millions of them plunged into destitution, unable to support their children and facing extreme prejudice and privation that can last generations.

We are dedicated to helping them to support themselves and their children with our national programme to empower 100,000 widows (and their eligible youths) throughout India through skills training into jobs by 2030.
